The reciprocal relations between countries are based on a few levels: between Heads of States, Diplomats, Ambassadors and of course between politicians from different countries.

However, when the issue is influencing the daily lives of different communities-The Municipality is the main influential source for our lives, as it includes all of the citizens’ areas of life: education, culture, youth, welfare, allowances, planning, construction and more.

The Idea of establishing the International Congress of Municipality Leaders was created due to the importance and the influence of the Municipality and its leaders.
The uniqueness of the forum is reflected by the Jewish identity of its members on one hand, and their positions and authority on the other. This makes them public opinion leaders and great people of influence who impact our life.

1. Among the forum’s goals:
   Strengthening the solidarity between the Jewish Municipality Leaders around the world, and the State of Israel. Thus, recognizing the crucial importance of the State of Israel in the present Jewish identity.
2. Creating networks, strengthening the relations among the members of the forum, and cooperating in significant areas: Zionism, Judaism, Education, Economy, culture and more.
3. Empowering the relations between members of the forum and their colleagues in Israel in particular, and the State of Israel and its values in general.
4. The forum will work as an address for every request of its members, for the benefit of implementing Jewish and Zionist contents among Jewish communities around the world.
5. The forum membership will be available for all Jewish Municipality Leaders ( Vice Mayors and Mayors ) regardless of Ideology, politics or the social system in their countries.
